Had to favourite this one. There's almost something about this that incorporates everything I love about Bastion. The colour palette, the swirld and tiling style.. And then your elaboration with the close up detail and the expression on the kids face are almost as expressive as the narrator himself!
gameplay is good, quite direct, not unlike isometric zelda titles (especially the way you’ll use the evasion roll over and over again to be faster)
but when you play it, you’ll realize why the first time i had to think about the question was when you asked it: in every other game i thought about gameplay at some point, in bastion i got instead immersed into the narration immediately when starting a new play session.
