um altair is drowning

You know, it wouldn't be so surprising that Altaïr wouldn't know how to swim.  He lived in a place that's mostly desert.  When desert dwellers find a body of water, they drink it, not swim in it.  I bet most of the people where he lived didn't know how to swim.

What doesn't make sense is how he will drown in water that's just a few inches deep.  Stand up, you fool!

But I seem to recall reading somewhere - and I kinda thought it was in the comments for this drawing but I didn't see it there - that Altaïr can swim, according to official word from Bethesda.  They say that we keep seeing him drown in a foot of water because of a glitch in the Animus.

Anyway, it's a well-done drawing.
